Background

NJ STRIVE is a consortium of New Jersey public school districts that prioritizes diverse educator candidates for teaching positions across the state. Its work includes annual professional development for member districts, inclusive job fairs, and student scholarships.

A consortium that spans some ninety districts speaks with many voices and answers to many audiences: district human resources leaders deciding whether to join, member districts looking for resources, and educator candidates looking for opportunity. NJ STRIVE needed one identity and one home online that could hold all of them together.

A membership organization is only as strong as its clarity. Districts join when they can see quickly what membership offers and who stands behind it, and candidates engage when the consortium’s mission is stated plainly and consistently wherever they meet it.

For a consortium built to widen the pool of educators serving New Jersey’s students, being easy to find, easy to understand, and easy to join is part of the mission. NJ STRIVE engaged e75 as a strategic partner to give it a brand and a platform that make that possible.

Strategy

The thinking behind the work

We treated the identity, the website, and the content as one system, so that a district leader, a member, and a candidate all meet the same consortium wherever they arrive.

The brand needed to be at home on a conference banner, a district letterhead, and a phone screen, and to speak for a statewide membership rather than for any single district.

Content strategy shaped the structure of the site: the questions a prospective district asks (why join, what membership offers, how to join) sit up front, while member resources, events, and news are organized for the people who return to them.

Our work with a school district centers on public information, and our work with a public affairs firm on authority and reputation. A membership consortium turns on clarity and belonging: making the value of joining unmistakable, and giving members a reason to come back.

Execution

How it came together

Brand Identity

Developed the NJ STRIVE identity, including a statewide seal and wordmark designed to represent the whole consortium, to work across print, event, and digital settings, and to belong equally to every member district.

Website Design

Designed and built the consortium’s website as its public home: a clear path for prospective districts, a place for leadership and membership information, and a dedicated area for district member resources.

Content Strategy

Planned and structured the site’s content around what each audience needs: why to join, how membership works, and what members receive, with news and events organized so the consortium’s activity stays visible.

Programs & Events

Gave the consortium’s recurring programs a clear home, including its annual professional development conference and inclusive job fairs, so event details and updates live in one dependable place.

Results

What changed
